Stephen Ventre, LPC

Stephen received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!). He then attended the University of West Georgia for graduate school where he earned his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

 

He is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who believes in helping people through listening, understanding, and taking action steps toward reaching their goals. He loves working with children, adolescents, and adults utilizing Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), talk therapy, and expressive therapy. He also has training in Trauma Focused–CBT.

 

Stephen has experience working in schools, the community, crisis hospitals, and in residential settings. He has 9 years of experience working with diverse populations, having a wide variety of issues including depression, anxiety, anger, grief, ADHD, ODD, LGBTQ+ issues, men's issues, and others.

 

Sessions with Stephen are mostly client-led, meaning what you want to talk about that session is most important. Sessions will feel like a normal conversation with some added challenges, skills learning, and other therapeutic techniques.  He likes to utilize humor and fun in sessions when applicable and would love to meet you.
