Meg is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with older adolescents and adults. A native of Snellville, GA, she received her Bachelor of Social Work degree at University of Georgia and her Master's degree at University of New England. She has spent most of her career working with hospice patients and families providing counseling, education, and resources. She utilizes a variety of therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Meditation, Radical Acceptance and is trauma-informed
With over 25 years of professional experience, Meg provides a non-judgmental space rooted in connection, empathy, and cultural sensitivity in which clients can safely explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. She has experience working with grief and loss, depression, anxiety, life transitions, boundaries, self-development, identity issues, religious and racial trauma, and difficulties within interpersonal relationships. Meg helps clients develop better coping skills, build resilience, and learn self-acceptance. As an affirming therapist for the LGBTQIA+ community, she is committed to creating a space that honors each person's inherent worth and dignity, while fostering growth, healing, and personal transformation.
