Jessica Davis, MEd, LPC

I have nine years experience of working with children and adolescents in a variety of therapeutic settings, from residential treatment facilities to outpatient settings. I have experience and training in TF-CBT (trauma focused – cognitive behavioral therapy), play therapy, sandtray therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and family therapy.

Children can seem overwhelming when they are experiencing emotions that they don’t know how to handle or when they are placed in situations where they don’t know what to do. I believe that children communicate through play and benefit greatly from being able to express themselves through play and expressive modalities. My approach is to meet the individual where they are and assist them in achieving their recovery goals to give them a happier and healthier life. I am passionate about working with children and adolescents who have experienced trauma and also enjoy working with individuals who have been impacted by anxiety and depression.
